office procedures for a productive and smoothly run office. |

Receives and routes
all incoming telephone and fax calls and messages. |

Greets in a positive
manner all that visits the office.

Responds to the daily
needs and changing needs of the Consortium.
|
 |
Picks up mail from
the post office box and brings it back to the office to be sorted.
|
 |
Routes to the
appropriate persons all incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail as needed.
|
 |
Maintains the record
keeping for all workshops, grant activities, and consortium activities.
|
 |
Creates and Coordinates school
announcements and communications such as newsletters, bulletins, and other
correspondence.
|
 |
Keeps an accurate
record of all grant activity and consortium activity account records.
|
 |
Prepares reports and
materials as may be required by the coordinator such as board reports,
correspondence and presentation materials, as examples.
|
 |
Assists in
coordinating the consortium activities.
|
 |
Responds to the
clerical needs of the consortium steering committee, school districts, and
the coordinator.
|
 |
Prepares accurate
lists of business & industry, teacher and student recognition. |
 |
Travels to partner
schools when needed to deliver materials, take enrollment or other duties. |
 |
Works occasional
evening or early morning as needed by the consortium. |
 |
Coordinates the
consortium's annual career fair activities. |
 |
Other duties as
assigned by the steering committee and/or the coordinator.

sufficiently to use a telephone effectively.

Uses effective verbal
and written communication skills with students s6taff, parents, and others.

Demonstrates
competence in using computers and other office equipment.

Demonstrates
competency in using Microsoft software applications such as Word, Excel,
Access, FrontPage and Publisher. |

Able to use equipment
which may require repetitive hand motions without physical problems
developing. This may involve extensive word processing or typing. |
