To establish and promote greater cooperation, communication, and involvement between the business community and the educational community for the purpose of better preparing all learners for employment opportunities in business and industry.

The School-Business Educational Consortium, a non-profit organization, started in 1995 with business and industry and school districts wanting to work together to better prepare our students for the world of work.  During 1995-1997 the consortium surveyed the communities to assess their needs, set short-term and long-term goals, and wrote grants for funding. In the Fall of 1997, a coordinator was hired to organize activities and help achieve the goals set forth by the consortium.  Our focus is to prepare ALL LEARNERS for their future.
